At Hemp Heros, they work directly with Organic Hemp Farmers across Europe to ensure they use only the finest raw materials in their products. All Hemp Heros products are made using Industrial Hemp which ensures it has no intoxicating effect whatsoever. Continuous research and development have enabled them to deliver the very best CBD Oil Ireland has to offer. Here we chat to David, the owner of Wellness Wednesday.
Tell us about a typical day at the office?
Wake up in the morning and create my to-do list. This helps set my day up and gets me focused. Then I work through my to-do list and emails to get ordered ready. I then try to go to the gym from 12-1 to keep my mind and body on point.
What is your current role like?
CEO of Hemp Heros which means I wear multiple hats. I do the new product development, sales, emails, marketing, and production.
What about it makes you want to get up in the morning?
That my products are making a positive impact on so many people and pets who rely on it.
What is the best career decision you ever made?
Starting a business with the money I had saved for a new car.
How has the industry changed since you started?
There have been tons of other hemp/CBD brands which have popped up and closed. The industry is constantly evolving and new regulations coming out.
What has been your biggest success factor?
When I started Hemp Heros I knew I was in it for the long run and not just to make fast cash. My biggest success factor has been having a long-term vision and persistence to achieve our mission “to provide people around the globe with High-quality CBD and Hemp products and to educate people on the many benefits Hemp can bring”.
Do you feel like you’re making a difference in your job?
Yes, definitely we work with and support a number of animal welfare charities including the DSPCA, Galway SPCA, Wicklow Animal Welfare and Husky Rescue to name a few.
What is the best bit of advice you have for someone looking to move into this area?
Ensure quality is at the forefront and you’re getting into the industry to help people.
Where do you see the industry going in the future?
The industry is only getting bigger and with more university research being performed CBD/hemp will be shown to help even more people.

European Industrial Hemp Association (EIHA) Sit on the board for the Hemp Cooperative of Ireland. Member of Guaranteed Irish and Retail Excellence Ireland.
