Samuel O’Doherty the famous traditional music and box accordion player from Tipperary passed away in the Bon Secours Cork earlier this year.
His family inspired by his memory and the care which he received in Bon’s Cork have raised €2000 euros towards Cancer Research in the Bon Secours Cork.
Dr Brian Bird, Consultant Medical Oncologist says “through research and new drugs we hope to bring better quality of life and cure to Irish Cancer Patients”.
