“Pride is not a one-day event or a month. It is something that has to be celebrated and supported 365 days a year.”
Sustainable Irish urban clothing brand Human Collective has today launched a limited-edition range of t-shirts for Pride Month with a percentage of each sale going directly to support LGBT Ireland.
Human Collective has been supporting LGBT Ireland since its inception by donating a percentage of the sale of every sweatshirt to the organisation along with two other Irish charities. This month, the brand will celebrate Pride and support the charity and the LGBTQI+ community further, by donating €1 from the sale of every t-shirt, which provides talk-time on the LGBT Ireland helpline.
The Human Collective Pride Tees will reflect the quality and comfort of the brand’s collection with the unique addition of a rainbow flag in place of the brand’s signature equal sign logo. Available in black and white styles, the Pride Tee is sustainably made at 180gsm, from 100% Organic Ring-Spun cotton and is priced at €33.
Speaking about the latest launch by the brand, Human Collective Founder & CEO Conor Buckley said, “The LGBT+ community is very close to our team’s heart and LGBT Ireland was the first charity we onboarded. We know providing support via their helpline can help people struggling with their gender and sexuality. Pride is not a one-day event or a month. It is something that has to be celebrated and supported 365 days a year. We hope people will feel comfortable and proud wearing our organic Pride T-shirts any day of the year.”
While Paula Fagan, CEO of LGBT Ireland added, “We are delighted Human Collective chose LGBT Ireland as a selected charity partner. Human Collective supports the LGBTI+ community all year round and actively builds the ethos of diversity, equality and inclusion into their work. Visibility is core to our work at LGBT Ireland and we look forward to the impact this Pride campaign will have.”
Human Collective has an ethos centred on promoting a message of intersectional equality and applies this across all touchpoints. The Human Collective team also provides Diversity & Inclusivity programmes with powerful and insightful talks by keynote speakers from the LGBTQI+ Community Paddy Smyth (Head of Community) and Mamobo Ogoro (Head of Diversity Inclusion and Belonging at Human Collective) along with founder, Conor Buckley.
