Darcybow is a luxury children’s clothing brand which was founded in 2016 by businesswoman Triona Spellman, who has created two collections every year since then. The concept behind the brand was to create stylish, luxurious and long-lasting pieces of clothing and accessories for children to wear, cherish and for parents to be able to pass on from generation to generation. Spellman travelled the world as an air hostess and began sourcing high quality fabrics and putting designs together whilst developing relationships within the textiles and fashion industries.
Spellman met her business partner Edelle Mellett at a networking event and the two formed a strong creative bond as well as a mutual ideal for what Darcybow would come to look like. Edelle brought savvy marketing experience to the table, having previously worked as a Brand Manager in the telecoms industry as well as having retail expertise when she owned and operated a successful bridal boutique Bridal Wraptures,Dublin 2.
Darcybow managed to navigate its way through the pandemic by moving their children’s styling appointments and fittings online but is looking forward to having face to face client meetings again this autumn.
Darcybow is gearing up for a busy autumn and will be hosting a series of “Darcy Days Out” starting in October. The fun fashion days encourage parents to bring their little one along for a special day of fashion, fun and fittings for occasion wear suitable for communions, birthdays and days out. The stunning pieces are 100% designed and made in Ireland and are inspired by classical children’s clothing which doesn’t date and has a luxurious feel to it.

Designed and conceived by businesswoman Triona Spellman, this luxurious classic collection of children’s dresses, coats and accessories is inspired by Victorian classic clothes for children with rich colours and durable, comfortable fabrics throughout. Deep blues, teals and ruby reds on capes and dresses will no doubt be showstoppers this autumn at days out, birthday parties and festive gatherings.
Oversized bows, statement collars and pops of colour make these pieces designed to last and be passed down from generation to generation.

THE ONCE IN A LIFETIME COLLECTION:
Darcybow’s “Once in a Lifetime” collection is designed for little girls to mark a special occasion such as a communion, part in a wedding, or simply just a day out wearing a gorgeous outfit. Little ones will love wearing the classic yet comfortable white dresses and white shoes which stand out in darling designs with high collars, some with puffed sleeves and decoys such as oversized bows.
Prices range from €69 for a pair of shoes (ages 3-10) and dresses range between €150 to €425.
