Artist Kelly Hood grew up on Granny Mae’s farm on the rugged Dingle peninsula, wandering through fields and playing with the animals.
Now, her nature-dominated artworks, including comical cows, curious sheep, a cheeky little pig and doe-eyed donkeys, can be readily found on the streets of Dublin!
The Irish-owned retailer, Carrolls Irish Gifts, which has 17 stores across Ireland and global online sales, has agreed to stock gorgeous original prints and gifts created by the Dingle artist.

Her collections, called Born Wild and Born Mucky, feature photo-realistic farmyard and wild animals, from cows and sheep to foxes and hares, with a very natural and tactile appearance that perfectly captures Irish farm and country life.

The artist also uses natural pigments for a sustainable art practice, and a percentage of all Kelly’s sales goes to animal welfare charities.
