Irish fashion label fee G and its Creative Director and founder, Fiona Heaney, have officially launched their Autumn/Winter 2018 collection with items from the 90-piece range in shops and to view online at feeg.ie now.

Fiona Heaney is thrilled to be celebrating her fifteenth year in business. “This is an exciting time for fee G. We are delivering to more stores than ever before in new markets. This season the collection has moved towards a more relaxed European casual vibe, yet retains its luxurious fabrics and trims, which are incorporated into the fee G signature.”
Founded in Dublin in 2003 by Fiona Heaney, fee G’s feminine collections bring together the skill and fashion heritage of a European brand with the wearability required for womenswear today. The AW18 fee G collection has more options than ever before.
Fiona says: “I have always been inspired by interiors from the East. Ornate decors, rich textiles, interesting tiles and patterns. These inspirations translate to opulent fabrics and colours I have chosen for the season. The collection is feminine but informal.”
Sheer jacquards, rich lurex knits, wool and cashmere, beading and feathers all feature. There is a relaxed style and vibe to the AW18 collection. The overall effect is everyday wearable with less occasionwear. Day dresses feature strongly, statement coats are daring, and Fiona has placed an emphasis on colour and texture with a return to embellishment. Key pieces use colour blocking on fabrics, such as jersey and woven stretch tailored styles.
“To create these I’ve experimented with colours, creating colour blocking in wave patterns. It was playing with colours and balance of shapes that created these new silhouettes. I have introduced pearl beading to jackets and dresses also, for added opulence. I am really happy with the overall result, the effect is fresh and fun and very wearable,” says Fiona.
Soft blush tones, dusty rose feature in wool and cashmere coats are perfect hues to ease into Autumn. As the nights get darker, the feather scarf is the perfect outfit pick-me-up and the quality knitwear, with needle-out detailing, is perfect for those chilly evenings.
