The Griffin Group
In all the family-run Griffin Hotel Group has invested €2 million in the bedroom refurbishment at Hotel Kilkenny and at Ferrycarrig Hotel in County Wexford.
The waterside Ferrycarrig Hotel overlooking the River Slaney in County Wexford has just completed a €1 million euro investment in its bedrooms. The bedroom upgrade at Ferrycarrig compliments the recently completed €1 million renovations of the Waterfront Wedding Suite with its Giorgio Armani wallpaper, a bespoke designed carpet by Couristan of New York, and handcrafted ornate doorframes along with a soft-toned leather bar.
The revamped bedrooms are just one element of ongoing major investment in Hotel Kilkenny. The property completed a major renovation and refurbishment of its gym and leisure facilities just pre-pandemic and the Active Club at Hotel Kilkenny has been recognised with multiple awards over the years. In addition, the Skyline Suite and Orchard Suite were also renovated along with investment in energy-efficiency projects as the hotel plays its role in significant carbon reduction, supporting electrification of transport and the continued removal of single-use plastic from its business ecosystem.
Commenting on the completion of the new look at both properties Liam Anthony Griffin says, “We are delighted to have completed what has been an extensive bedroom renovation at Ferrycarrig Hotel and at Hotel Kilkenny. Each of the bedroom designs was uniquely created to fit each of the property’s own sense of personality and style.
We are proud to have worked with a large number of local trades teams and creators ensuring continued re-investment in the Southeast region.
We are sure that our guests will feel relaxed and renewed following a stay at either Ferrycarrig or at Hotel Kilkenny.”
