This will be the first time ever that the NFG’s – National Fitness Games – a unique test of power, endurance, speed and strength – will take place outside of the UK, running April 22-24 at University College Dublin (UCD), and the team at McSport will bring their expert knowledge to this important sponsorship
Dublin has been selected as the first destination outside of the UK for the NFG FitGames, which has established a strong footprint in Britain since it was founded by former rugby international Kenny Logan and Mark Hartnett-Morgan in 2018. Irish fitness equipment specialists McSport is the official equipment sponsor for the Dublin competition, which will be a fierce test of power, endurance, speed and strength and is open to all levels of functional fitness, from Novice (Novo) to Intermediate (Open) and Elite.
Each athlete competing in NFG FitGames Ireland will have to complete four workout challenges across four zones, the details of which will be released two days before the event. Athletes will be required to demonstrate their all-around fitness capabilities across the key pillars of strength, speed, power and endurance.

Friday, April 22nd will see the inaugural NFG Corporate FitGames take place, where companies from around the country will compete against each other for the coveted title of Fittest in Ireland.
The teams events will then take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 23-24. Athletes will sign up to compete in teams of four (male, female and mixed) in the Novo and Open categories. Availability will be limited each day. Saturday will also see the flagship Elite competition take place for individual male and female athletes, with the title of Ireland’s Fittest Male / Female up for grabs.
Visitors can also expect epic tunes from NFG DJs, an athlete village and a fun-fuelled weekend of functional fitness. This is one event fitness enthusiasts won’t want to miss.
