Irish skincare company, Holos, has swept the boards in The Beauty Shortlist annual awards programme for 2024.
Holos This is More Multi-use Plant Oil, Holos Love Your Skin Anti-ageing Facial Oil, and four separate products from the brand’s ‘Super Natural Activity’ collection were recognised in different award categories.
Founder, Niamh Hogan, is celebrating no less than eleven separate accolades for the eco-friendly skincare brand. While Holos has achieved very many awards in beauty and skincare circles, today’s announcement, coming from a highly-respected, independent ‘natural beauty bible’, is particularly special, the entrepreneur says.
“The Beauty Shortlist is a professional beauty blog and awards scheme, started back in 2009, which has no sponsors, no advertising, and no voting. It was started in the UK, and the natural beauty awards went global in 2017, with all product thoroughly judged by health and wellbeing experts over a 5-month period”, Niamh Hogan explains.
Holos Skincare was especially acknowledged in the Mama & Baby category, and in the Eco Awards category, where the brand, overall, was named Best Low Plastic Beauty Brand.
Judged only by a panel of experts, The Beauty Shortlist’s awards single out top-rated brands and products in the natural and organic space, providing consumers with trusted recommendations.
Holos This is More Multi-use Plant Oil, for cleansing, makeup removal, haircare, massage and more, was named Best Time-Saving / Multi-Tasking Beauty Product in both the Mama & Baby and the Eco Awards categories.
The dedicated Mama & Baby awards spotlight hero products that mothers can rely on, for being safe and gentle at every stage of pregnancy, as well as for babies and toddlers.
Holos Love Your Skin Anti-ageing Facial Oil was a winner in this category, as were Super Natural Activity Pre & Probiotic Spritz, Super Natural Activity AHA Deep Cleansing Cream, and Super Natural Activity Triple Lipid Replenish Cream.
The ‘Super Natural Activity’ collection is game-changing skincare that combines natural plant-derived ingredients and cosmeceuticals, also derived from powerful, therapeutic plant-actives.
Recycle, refill, re-love is the theme for The Beauty Shortlist Eco Awards according to founder Fiona Klonarides.
“We highlight great recyclable, reusable, refillable, plastic-free and planet-positive beauty and wellness brands, typically like Holos Skincare, that are also highly reliable.
“These brands are beacons in a disposable, plastic-wrapped world. It’s important to honour them and give them the exposure they deserve”, the respected beauty journalist says.
