Paddy Cullivan of The Camembert Quartet and The Late Late Show fame, will be entertaining customers in The llac Centre during May and June (dates are 11th and 18th May and 1st June).
The first shopping centre to open in the heart of Dublin in 1981, the Ilac Centre, has now become Ireland’s first shopping centre to achieve ISO accreditation for its health and safety and environmental management.
Adjacent to Henry Street, which is Ireland’s busiest shopping street, the Ilac Centre offers 85 retail and catering units, as well as housing the main city library. The landmark city centre shopping destination now has over 300,000sqft of retail and F&B, (28,000m2).
The last two years saw additional new units created in a €1.5 million extension and refurbishment of the Moore Mall, as well as centre-wide upgrades.
Recent new retail and food brands include stationery chain Smiggle, bookstore and art shop, The Works, outdoor clothing company, Regatta, Irish fashion label, Diesel, catering equipment specialist, Nisbets, and the healthy salad bar Chopped, bb’s bakers + baristas, Quiz, Flying Tiger and Ann’s Bakery. Already home to international retail brands like River Island, H&M and Argos, the Ilac Centre has Dunnes Stores, Debenhams and TKMaxx as a strong trio of anchor stores.
Throughout the summer, a trip to the Ilac in the heart of Dublin city centre will make an entertaining treat for all the family.
Free WiFi is available throughout the main concourse and in many of the eateries, as well as in the library, where adults and children can browse from 10.00am from Monday to Saturdays.
