Tech Powered Luxury, the chart-topping fashion and beauty podcast hosted by Ashley McDonnell, kicks off its most electrifying season yet by going global with a duo of live shows this September.
With anticipation at fever pitch, Season 5, launching September 17th, is set to be the most groundbreaking to date, delivering an unparalleled lineup of visionary guests and captivating conversations.
Fresh of the heels of their Dublin live show on September 9th, the trailblazing podcast, renowned for its deep dives into the nexus of luxury, fashion, beauty, and technology, heads to host Ashley’s adoptive home ready to take Paris by storm with an exclusive, invite-only event during Paris Fashion Week at the prestigious Irish Embassy on Avenue Foch.
On the eve of September 26th, Ashley will host “Live From Paris Fashion Week”, shining a spotlight on Ireland’s extraordinary contributions to the global luxury landscape, from fashion to beauty, watches to jewellery—all powered by cutting-edge technology.
Since 1954 the Hôtel de Breteuil has been home to the Irish Embassy in Paris. The Hôtel particulier standing at 12 Avenue Foch was built in 1892 for the 8th Marquis de Breteuil (1846-1916). Henri-Charles Joseph Le Tonnelier was born into the famous Breteuil family, continuing a prestigious tradition of over 300 years in royal service and intellectual life.
The Hôtel de Breteuil was bought by the Irish government in 1954, marking its 70th anniversary this year. The acquisition of the Paris Embassy is now considered a valuable investment allowing the showcasing of Irish business and cultural interests in a beautiful and prestigious setting.
The evening will commence with a fashion tour within the embassy, where guests will discover seven emerging fashion designers from Ireland – Aoife McNamara, Colin Burke, Tidings, The Landskein, The White Gallery, Ros Duke, Kindred of Ireland – and live fashion illustrations by designer and artist Laura Jayne Halton.
Award-winning founders of Ireland’s leading beauty brands Ella & Jo and Seoulista Beauty alongside jewellery designer Chupi Sweetman will be present on the night alongside fashion-tech start-up FFACE.ME, who guests can discover through their interactive augmented reality mirror.
The evening will proceed with a live podcast recording with an illustrious panel of leading figures from the key pillars of the design industry:
