When we visited Avril Allshire-Howe on Monday I was very impressed to hear all about the success and interest in West Cork Farm Tours that Avril and a number of other farming families have developed. This is a great addition to the tourism offering and very often we don’t hear enough about these enterprising initiatives that are the backbone of rural life and hugely important to a local economy.
